Julia provides research, analysis and data visualization that help make CHA’s programs effective and accessible for a diverse portfolio of clients. Using both qualitative and quantitative data, she assesses and communicates organizations’ progress towards equitable policies, programs and practices.
I take action for equity because I cannot live on this earth in good conscience without working to create a more equitable world in which my fellow human beings can thrive!
Julia takes pride in providing clients a forum to feel valued, heard, and comfortable, and creating thorough assessments that accurately represent client experiences and growth. She uses her skills in program development and stakeholder engagement to provide support and co-facilitation for CHA’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion trainings, and curriculum development.
Julia has an extensive background in community engagement, gender-based violence, and humanitarian health. Passionate about global health equity and participatory community development, she has experience working with diverse populations in cross-cultural settings in the U.S., South Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
Julia holds an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and an MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work.
