Operations Manager

Tiffany Boykins thrives on everyday tasks and emergent last second demands, transforming difficult problems into solvable puzzles, piece by piece, person to person. As an Operations Manager for CommonHealth ACTION, Ms. Boykins manages the development and implementation of business operations and financial management systems for the organization, turning inscrutable mazes into easy-to-follow processes for staff, partners and clients. As an intricate part of CommonHealth ACTION’s operations team, Ms. Boykins has an important role in creating and sustaining a solid operational foundation for the organization – ensuring that solid financial and operational policies are in place and enforced.

 

In her role, she is tasked with applying her project, meeting & event and budget management skills in developing and managing organizational operations, strategies and systems. Some of her duties include client & contract management, vendor negotiations, board management, on-boarding new hires and executive leadership development support. Concurrently working across several programs in the organization, Ms. Boykins has proven her ability to manage simultaneous deliverables from start to finish while conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to report out. She also serves as a primary liaison with local government agencies on behalf of the organization.

 

Though her public health career began at CommonHealth ACTION in 2011, Ms. Boykins’ brings over 15 years of experience through her diverse background and extended skill-set. Prior to joining CommonHealth ACTION, Ms. Boykins professional career included roles in Business, Marketing, Communications, Meeting/Events Planning, Administrative and Non-Profit roles including Marketing for the American Red Cross. With a passion for helping people, a will to make the world a healthier happier place and an avid drive for success, Ms. Boykins also served on the Board for the Red Cross Young Professionals, an organization based out of the American Red Cross, Central Maryland Chapter. There she served as Committee Chair and raised over $100,000 in donations through a partnership with local news and radio stations.

 

Ms. Boykins received her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from Norfolk State University and is based in the CommonHealth ACTION’s Washington, DC office.
