Patricia oversees human resources for CommonHealth ACTION and the Institute for Public Health Innovation. In that capacity she manages the development and implementation of policies and practices as well as new staff orientation to ensure compliance with local and federal government policies.
Patricia has more than 20 years of diverse human resources and management experience with large and mid-sized companies in the areas of recruiting and staffing, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, developing policies and procedures, training and development, acquisition due diligence activities, and more. She has hand-on experience leading many HR initiatives including training and development, benefits administration, performance management, compliance reporting and recruiting. Patricia has held human resources leadership positions with government contractors and healthcare organizations and her experience includes private consulting in the areas of performance management, rewards and recognition programs, handbook development and Affirmative Action Plans. Patricia has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master in Business and Public Administration. She is also a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Patricia is based in CommonHealth ACTION’s Washington, DC office.
